This is Lola.  She was rescued out of a horrible home where she was kept in a basement, in a small animal crate.  At the time of her rescue (when these pictures were taken), she had no tail and it appeared she had gone bald from rubbing her head against the top of the carrier.  One toe is broken and has set twisted upside down so that the nail points up and she is missing an eye.  The story told to the rescuer was that the children in the house were told to go kick the crate whenever she started screaming.   She is now doing well and enjoys bathing and sleeping in the sunshine.  Please help support avian rescues so that we can continue to help birds like Lola.
